USB driver Install instructions:
USB driver for the MAXQ-JTAG-USB install a "Virtual" serial COM port
on your PC.
This unit use a FTDI USB to serial bridge chip for that and the drivers for
it can be downloaded from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
When you plug the unit into your PC's USB port Windows new hardware wizard should
prompt you for drivers.
Direct it to the directory into which you donwloaded and unzipped the drivers.
After installation go to Control Panel->System->HArdware->Device Manager
and look under Ports (COM & LPT)
You should see an entry USB Serial port (COMx) where x is the port number of
that virtual port. Use this serial port number you
use with MAX-IDE
(If Windows assigns a port number higher than 4 you can change that by right
clicking on the entry in device manager, select properties
->port settings-> advanced)
