iMX233-SJTAG

iMX233-SJTAG is an adapter which uses just two signals and transforms them into normal JTAG interface. Using parallel JTAG is tricky as the parallel JTAG signals are shared with SD-CARD SPI signals and if you use parallel JTAG signals you will lose the SD-CARD. This adapter solves the problem. The adapter works both with commercial IDEs and OpenOCD.

HARDWARE

We can’t release this design as open source because we received private programming logic from Freescale under NDA, so the best we can do is just to produce this adapter at low-cost and make it affordable for all OLinuXino developers.

The output signals are as follows:

• RED - PWR_E (disabled by default by an opened jumper with the same name)
• WHITE - GND
• GREEN - SJTAG_PSW
• BLACK - SJTAG_DBG
