Title: SATA USB conflict?

Is it normal that having an SSD connected to the SATA port disconnects the USB ports?

What is you power supply? 5V 1A may not be enough to power the board, SSD and some USB devices.

It's powered by a 4 amp power supply.
We fixed the issue in the meantime by powering the affected USB device and the SATA from a 5V regulator located off the Olimex. Looks like the poor little thing was getting overloaded.
