Title: Wii nunchuck on Olimexino-32U4 without the UEXT connector?
Post by: cebonet on March 17, 2014, 09:39:11 PM
Hi people.

I am working on a game project using the Olimexino-32U4.
I was wondering,  if I could connect the WIi nunchuck without the UEXT connecter, the reason is simply because I don't have the time for the delivery. I do though have a WIi nunchuck adapter http://www.miniinthebox.com/arduino-compatible-wii-nunchuck-adapter-wiichuck-shield-module_p381446.html?currency=USD (http://www.miniinthebox.com/arduino-compatible-wii-nunchuck-adapter-wiichuck-shield-module_p381446.html?currency=USD). I've made some research and tried to use it by plugging like in this tutorial http://blog.oscarliang.net/wii-nunchuck-arduino-tutorial/ (http://blog.oscarliang.net/wii-nunchuck-arduino-tutorial/). But it doesn't seem to work. Any feedback is appreciated  ;D.

OK, I've solved the problem. I'll upload how i did it, so if there are others who are interested can look at it.
Mine nunchuck didn't work when the chip was set to 5v. It worked only on 3.3v.
