Title: A20 SOM record from Line In
Post by: anthonym on December 18, 2014, 02:55:20 PM
Hi All,

I am trying to get audio recording working via the line in connections on the A20 SOM (GPIO1) but unfortunately no luck so far.

Everything works fine if I use the MIC input on the Evaluation board but I cannot get anything from the Line In connections.

I have noticed that if I enable Left Cap and Right Cap in alsamixer as soon as try to arecord they are set back to off.

Anyone got any ideas?

To select the input port you have to set the mixer control called ADC Input Mux

You can adjust it with alsamixer or amixer

Hi,

Check that, working fine, think I had the pre-amp set too high and it was overloaded (i.e. no input).

Thanks for your help.
