Title: Webkit based browser and hardware acceleration.
Post by: spec on January 06, 2015, 06:37:46 PM
Hi.
I'm sorry for my bad english, I'm french and I have a problem.

We have an Olinuxino A20 Micro and we are trying to display HTML pages containing video and CSS animations. Theses pages was "designed" for webkit so we installed Chromium on our board to try it.

It's very low beacause the hardware acceleration is not used (Chromium is looking for OpenGL which is unavailable and it doesn't knows openGL-ES and VDPAU).

I'm not an expert about that, we tried some browsers but without good results. Maybe a OpenGL to OpenGLES exists?
It's really impossible to run Chromium correctly on this board?

Thank you very much for your answers :)
