Title: A20 micro won't boot
Post by: pfandfrei on January 25, 2015, 05:55:37 PM
I bought a second A20 micro (without NAND), but it is not possible to get it running.

I tried two different micro sd cards and severel images. Always the same effect: The red led turns on when board is connected to power an the ethernet leds start blinking when board is powered on. I connected a usb debugging cable to my pc but there is no output.
Everything works fine with my "old" A20 micro with the same micro sd cards, same power supply, images, debugging cable ...

Any tips, what I can try to get the board running before I'm sending it back to the seller?

Have you tried booting it up with RECOVERY pressed and see if PhoenixSuit detects it?

I think this will not work, because I have an A20 micro without NAND flash (as mentioned in the first post)

Did you try it?

I tried it now several times, but it was never detected.

FEL mode does not need or use NAND.
