Title: How to use different Li-Po battery pack ?
Post by: splite on April 13, 2015, 07:30:55 PM
Hello,

I'm sourcing product for a new project and I will use a bit bigger li-po battery (3,7V 6750mAh 3 elements) than the one sold on Olimex website.

I heard about some specifying battery charger configuration, like BMS and so on. I'm gonna use the A20 battery charger with the AXP209.

Do I have any thing to configure on the board before using this different battery pack ?

Thanks
Florian

Nothing on the board. Just set the FEX with your charging requirements and it will work. I use the 6600mA from Olimex and it works.

Ok great! I used to work with a li-po 6600mAh from Olimex and it worked out of the box.

I thought I had to modify some parameters on the AXP209 to adapt it to an other battery pack, I will have a look at the FEX file.

Thank
