Hello,

Any idea how to add subtitles support to any player on the debian imaghe. I tried to display subs without any luck.

SMPlayer / mplayer and VLC media player all have subtitle support, must be your subtitle file not the players,
or maybe you don't have enough or the right fonts installed.

Got this exact same issue. Please, help ! :(

I tried "noass=yes" into mplayer.conf, and looked into smplayer pref too, with no avail for now.
