Title: Can LIME2 handle 120Mbps ethernet + 60Mbps USB traffic?
Post by: ShervinEmami on August 20, 2015, 12:03:56 PM
I'm considering using A20-OLinuXino-LIME2 for an IP camera processing device that combines 2 x 1080p 30FPS IP cameras (equivalent to roughly 120Mbps of network traffic) and stores the resulting 1080p 30FPS video (roughly 60Mbps traffic) in realtime to an SD card or USB flash stick.

Does anyone think A20-OLinuXino-LIME2 can handle this much Ethernet + USB traffic?

you can use "iperf" each side of ethernet.
First send, second receive.
You've got max speed ethernet if you use 2 cores

For USB, i don't know
For sata i've got 30mbs max. NFS is bad, ftp is better
