Title: Another ARM-USB-TINY-H + SWD Adapter and SWO Tracing question..
Post by: pquinton on October 06, 2015, 10:09:36 AM
Hello,

I'm currently using the ARM-USB-TINY-H, with the SWD adapter with OpenOCD 0.9.0 for flashing etc. However, OpenOCD does not currently support SWO/SWV tracing for the ft2232h based adapters.

I'm looking into the possibility of writing / hacking something together for the SWO for the TINY-H/SWD adapter so I don't need to add another ft232 based adapter for SWO (as well as the TINY-H).

I've looked at the SWD adapter schematics, which are self explanatory.

Question:
Is the TDO/SWO signal mapped/duplicated to the second "channel" on the FT2232H at all?

Thanks,
Phil.

I'm not sure if I understand the problem correctly, but hardware-wise there is no such connection to BCBUS or BDBUS pins of the FT2232HL.

TDO is connected to ADBUS2.

Best regards,
