Title: Can somebody assist me in setting up a JTAG debug environment for ARM Cortex-A7
Post by: yadav12 on June 11, 2021, 11:39:47 AM
On the i.MX6 ULL and i.MX8M Mini Evaluation Kits, I'm now building bare-metal apps. NXP, the board's manufacturer, offers custom Linux OS support (Yocto Project). However, they do not include any startup routines, linker scripts, or the bare-metal SDK. I'd like to gain some insight into this and see if there is someone that can assist me with my issue.

While there isn't an official guide, I've seen a lot of people use OpenOCD tools with iMX6, if you search online you can find how other people id it, maybe try the OpenOCD mail lists.
