Title: ESP-32-POE GPIO pin question for rat-ratgdo
Post by: h.a.-n00b on July 19, 2024, 09:18:49 AM
Hi All,

I'm brand new and playing with esp32/IoT. I'd love to attempt to build a rat-ratgdo, powered by ethernet (and sending data over ethernet instead of wifi).

Looking at their schematics it looks like GPIO pins 21 and 23 are used, but I don't see those two pins mentioned on the Olimex schematics.  I'm sorry for the newbie question, but how do I get those ports? (I'm assuming I have remap some existing ports somehow?)

GPIO21 and GPIO23 are used for the Ethernet chip. You can't use them for other purposes. If you want to use GPIO21 or GPIO23 - look for another board without Ethernet.
