Hello,

I have a ARM-USB-OCD and a SAM7-EX256 board.
The board is powered via USB and the ARM-USB-OCD driver has been installed as stated in the site.
The OlimexODS version 9.0 - rev.K with OpenOCD version 0.6.1.

I am having the following issue with openOCD:

The debug session is unable to start.
Command used:
openocd-0.6.1.exe -f ../scripts/interface/olimex-arm-usb-ocd.cfg -f ../scripts/target/sam7x256.cfg

Kindly help me out with this.

Warm Regards,
Boseji

Hello boseji,

Why aren't you using the drop-down menu in the Eclipse package? The OpenOCD is part of the OlimexODS... Just open the project for SAM7-EX256, then select the ARM-USB-OCD from the drop down menu (near the green play button with the suitcase). Finally in the arrow next to the green bug symbol select the top debug configuration. Then all information is available in the console screen IN THE OLIMEX ODS.

If you are going for stand-alone use of the OpenOCD then I recommend you to download version 0.7.0 (from Freddie Chopin's web site probably) and then search for \scripts\board\olimex_sam7_ex256.cfg - there is a specific configuration for Olimex SAM7-EX256 in OpenOCD.
