Hi,

I just bought a OLinuXino-WIFI A13 board.
Now I wanted to change the keyboard layout to DE-CH-UTF8.
To do this I logged as root into a console and typed:
dpkg-reconfigure locales
I choose my locales and changed the standard to DE-CH-UTF8.
It worked without any error, but nothing changed, the layout was the same as before.
Also a restart did not solve my problem.

The following did not work also, because this packages are not installed:

dpkg-reconfigure console-data

dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration

Any ideas?

Many thanks...

Hi,

After a while - nearly one month later - I ask again if there is someone who had the same problem like me.
I still can't change the layout of my keyboard.
Perhaps this is just a too stupid question that none of you had the patience to answer?  :)

Any ideas?

Many Thanks in advance.

install console data with:
      apt-get install console-data

then you can reconfigure it.

The last post worked out for me. Finally I can | again!

Make sure you select the full map since it is most likely a USB keyboard.
