Hello for everyone.

I'm new in that android stuff.

I had boot the nand androis image of the a13 wifi without problem, and I had put a debian image ina a 8gb SD and run slowly but run.

But when I try to load the sun5i_android_a13-evb_800x480_LCD_EN_SD.img
to use the 7LCD attached to the a13 board from https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-bAEPML8fwleXBMellGdWJ3RUk/edit?pli=1 nothing appends.

It looks that with dd load the files to the microsd(it takes 15 minutes) but at the end if I look in the sd there's almost nothing, and when I try to boot from the sd, don't work and boot from the nandflash.

I use the comand "sudo dd if=/dev/sdc of=sun5i_android_a13-evb_800x480_LCD_EN_SD.img and thatr command don't give any error.
for the linaro image it works but not with the android.

Any help or sugestion? There's some problem with that 228mb androis image?

I need to work with the 7CD and I can't.

regards,

mb

Currently booting Android from the micro-SD slot is not supported. There are some files with instructions in Chinese in the Olinuxino GitHub repository that are supposed to help but I don't know if anyone has had a look on them.

Thanks for the info.

Then.. there's a way to use de 7LCD of the A13 wifi with the android that there's in NAND flash?

When I press the power button it flash a bit and I can see for a second the 7LCD on but no more.

You need to flash the NAND with the sun5i_android_a13-evb_800x480_LCD_EN_SD.img. Use livesuite see the wikki write up -> https://www.olimex.com/wiki/A13-OLinuXino#Using_an_operating_system_-_Nand_flash

After try for a day finally I have succes to load the 800x480 android image.
I was with a Windows7 32 bits and livesuit 1.09.

My laptop has W7 64 bits and at the moment I can't do it. I'm looking for the correct drivers.

Hello junetec,

I also use Windows7 x64 and this one works here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7WHuNCASY8cWlZ2djh4X0QtV0U/edit?usp=sharing. Try to extract it anew and maybe re-install the drivers.
