Real Time Kernel

Hi

I'm trying to compile a Real Time Kernel for the Imx233 but there is no RT-patch for kernel 2.6.35 (used by default)

My question is : can i use standard sources from kernel 2.6.33, to build a patched kernel?

I don't know if sources for i386 and imx233 are different or if there is only .config flags to set correctly.
