MOD-BT issue

Hi,
My MOD-BT module does not save settings like paired devices, pin and baud rates onto flash. The +BTFLS command does not have any effect on it, it replies with OK, but all settings are lost on every power off/on cycle. Is this normal behavior or am I missing some configuration steps? Thank you in advance for your help

AT+BTSET to set the dynamic parameters; AT+BTFLS to store them. The dynamic parameters may be found in table 4 of the command set document: https://www.olimex.com/Products/Modules/RF/MOD-BT/resources/BGB203_SPP_UserGuide.pdf .
