MSP430-P2274 Dev. board. Can I use BSL through serial port ?

Hello,
I'm absolutely new in TI uC family, I never used it. Now I bougth one MSP430-P2274 Dev. board and I don't know how I can transfer code from CCS (Free License) to this board.  I have one MSP430-BSL unit. Can I use it?  or need a JTAG programmer?
I read in MSP430F2274 datasheet that this uC has BSL option, but I don't know How use it.
