STMP157-OLinuXino-LIME2 not booting from eMMC without reset

Hello, I'm planning to use some STMP157-OLinuXino-LIME2-IND boards with Flash-e32Gs16M eMMC modules in an embedded application, but at least one board is having an issue with booting from eMMC automatically on power-up. So far all I've done with it is follow the guide for using the olinuxino-sd-to-emmc script, and it does boot successfully after manual reset, but it will not boot automatically like it did with the SD card. I've tried updating it and running the olinuxino-reset script since I did end up using another board to do the eMMC transfer, but neither has helped.

I am planning to add a custom front panel interface board that can handle power-on reset for my application, but I'm mostly wondering what might have happened during eMMC transfer to break automatic boot.
