5MP camera OV5640 interface with i.MX233

Hi,

We have designed a i.MX233 board with OV5640 camera on LINUX OS. We need driver to interface this camera. If anybody have exposure to interface camera with any board, please help me to interface this camera.

I am working on a similar project for the OV05642 and the A13
I am using the i2c and 15fps.
I started with just jpeg output

I have interest to do like you. I have iMX233-OLINUXINO-MICRO and digital camera OV7670 . My target is to capture image and compress to jpeg file in sd card . i looking for any body do like this.Are you have any reference to share with me ?

Hi,

We did lot of work to interface the OV5640, finally able to store the B/W clear image. But could not archive the colour image due to speed of i.MX233 not sufficient to grab all pixel from OV5640. Then we interface the USB camera using V4L and captured all resolution image and save in SD card, able to view the image on PC.
