how to increase brightness of lcd ts 7" in official debian image in a13wifi

hi everyone,

I have a13 wifi olinuxino connected with 7" lcd ts.
And in sd card i have official debian with gui.
Can I increase the brightness of my lcd (lcd is the olimex 7" ts lcd).
Is there anyway to control lcd brightness?
Do i need to do any changes in hardware or in software.

i have tried the below command

# xbacklight -set 50

but am getting the following error

NO outputs have backlight property

i have tried the below command
# xrandr --output default --brightness 0.4

but am getting below mentioned error

xrandr: Gamma size is 0.

how should i set my brightness ? i am not getting this thing.

hello olimex ,

please help me with this.
Is there anyway to increase brightness of lcd.
For my application i need it to be bright.
the current brightness is not that good so please tell me how should i increase it.

You won't like this but it's the weekend so they may not be at work!  3 posts is a bit much maybe.

I'm sure you already know they are fundamentally a hardware maker but you ask a generic software question so expecting them to know the answer is optimistic to put it mildly...
