A13-SOM: Camera CSI pins?

Hello

I need to revisit this question hence the heavy redaction and editing of this thread.

Are there any notes or examples of how to attach a cmos camera to the A13-SOM?

From my limited understanding, the cmos camera would use the CSI pins: pins 29 - 36  BUT they are shared
with the debug UART.

Therefore, am I correct in thinking that it is possible to attach a cmos camera using pins 29-36, with the understanding that the required DTS definition would disable the debug port (which is probably not needed for a production ready product anyway)?

Thanks for the help!

Bruce

What about the ones which include "CSI" in their name?

bumping thread in hope of finding an example where somebody has connected a cmos camera to the A13-SOM

Thanks

Is it not the same as for the earlier A13 boards?

hmm... good idea! ... but couldn't find anything. Also, I'm confusing cmos and Camera Serial Interface...duh!!

I can't find any examples of people using the CSI interface, these exmaples all use the usb:

http://olimex.wordpress.com/2013/02/27/a13-olinuxino-serving-mod-rgb-and-web-cam-for-live-stream/

BUT....another duh!! on my part, my A20-SOM EVB has a CSI camera attached...so basically a working example. I had another look at the searchable PNG schematic and confirmed processor pins: 114 - 125 are the 12 CSI pins.

Thanks again for all the help, much appreciated!!!
