Emg Shield output always high or low

Hi, i bought the board and tried measure my emg signal, but the output of the board is always high or low. It doesnt matter if cables are connected or not. Also makes no difference if i change the potentiometer, output stays same. Smetimes when i connect the board, the output is always low and sometimes always high, dont know on what it depends.
